Our Developers

The Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah (HASU) provides affordable housing options to moderate and low-income families in Grand and San Juan Counties. HASU is dedicated to promoting affordable housing and economic opportunities in the Moab and surrounding area. HASU has built.

Re-Sale of Single Family Homes: HASU has built 25 Mutual Self-Help homes in partnership with USDA and homeowners so far. This initiative allows future homeowners to engage directly in the construction of their residences, ensuring each home is built to high standards while reflecting the unique character of its owner. With a focus on affordability, these homes are designed to be both functional and comfortable, featuring modern amenities and efficient layouts. 

Income Limit: 80% AMI (check the FAQ page for AMI definition)

 

Email MACLT's Stewardship Coordinator at jblanco@moabclt.org to get on the interest list for single family homes. When a home is ready to be resold, you will then be notified.​

Apartments: Skyline Arch Apartments at Arroyo Crossing is an upcoming 32-unit multifamily development spearheaded by the Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah (HASU). Designed to provide affordable rental options, the complex will feature apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms. Notably, some units will be set aside for vulnerable populations, including victims of domestic violence and individuals experiencing homelessness. This initiative aims to address the pressing housing needs in Moab, offering quality living spaces that foster community and support for those who need it most. Construction is expected to be completed by Summer 2025.

Income Limit: Dependent on unit. All under 55% AMI

Townhomes: Most of the upcoming 27 2-story townhomes built by HASU will be a part of the Mutual Self-Help Program.

Territorial Land Company is led by Mark Griffith and is local to the Moab area. TLC has experience developing subdivisions such as White Horse and Coyote Run. Territorial Land Company is contributing to the vibrant Arroyo Crossing community with a selection of high-quality homes designed for affordability and comfort. Each home is thoughtfully constructed, emphasizing durability and modern amenities, ensuring that residents enjoy a welcoming living environment. As part of Arroyo Crossing's overall mission, Territorial Land Company aims to provide sustainable housing solutions that enhance the quality of life for Moab's workforce and families.

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) was created in 1975 by Utah legislation to serve a public purpose  to help provide affordable housing for low and moderate income persons. 

 

Cottages: The Utah Housing Corporation is developing Confluence Cottages at Arroyo Crossing, featuring 24 charming rental units designed for moderate-income families. These cottages will offer one- and two-bedroom layouts, each with loft spaces, providing a cozy yet functional living environment. With sizes ranging from 600 to 800 square feet, the cottages are part of a thoughtfully planned walk-in neighborhood that prioritizes community and accessibility. Set to be completed in spring/summer 2025.

Community Rebuilds is a 501(nonprofit corporation, whose mission is to build energy-efficient housing, provide education on sustainability, and improve the housing conditions of the workforce through an affordable program. This innovative development features strawbale homes that blend sustainability with affordability, allowing families to create their dream spaces while actively participating in the building process. Each home reflects the unique personality of its owner, showcasing a commitment to environmental stewardship through solar energy and natural materials.

 

Re-Sale of Single Family Homes: CR has built 28 Mutual Self-Help homes at Arroyo Crossing through a partnership with the USDA.
